HLX Governance
HLX is passionate about the importance of good governance and investors are increasingly demanding the same from the funds that they invest in.
Good governance is that which brings people with knowledge, experience, diversity of perspective and adequate time into the governance framework to ensure that funds can meet the ever-increasing operational due diligence standards demanded by institutional-class investors.
We are a team of highly experienced professionals who have operated in the investment industry on the Buy or Sell side, with experience across traditional and digital asset investment structures. We know what risks should be discussed and what is important to consider. We don’t seek to second guess managers; rather our role is to help them avoid pitfalls and thus focus and concentrate on running their portfolios.
Our unique collaboration with the IPAF Group, which operates in 8 jurisdictions, gives us the global strength, breadth and resources to stand up against all other governance businesses and, most importantly, exceed the increasingly tough requirements being demanded by institutional investors.

Governance to us isn’t a ‘tick-the-box’ exercise, it’s about understanding a business and contributing in constructive and meaningful ways to allow the business to operate effectively and efficiently. In essence being a constructive board member means listening, understanding and being a helpful and useful voice representing the interests of investors.
